MABIN promotes an integrated approach to improving maternal and child health by arranging access to care for women living in remote areas. It zealously works for advocating good policies and funding to provide accessible, quality services.We work primarily in Havelian which is a city in district Abbottabad in the KPK province. It is remote and rural, where access to medical care is minimal.There is an environment of poverty, low literacy, malnourishment, high parity and poor health services. All this has led to women dying and suffering morbidity as a result of pregnancy related complications.
